JEREMY M. PELT was born in Tulsa, OK in 1980. 

Jeremy received his BA in Printmaking from the University of North Carolina at Asheville in 2004 and his MFA from the University of Chicago in 2008. He has had solo exhibitions in Chicago, New Orleans and Charlotte, NC. The Dwelling Gallery, Charlotte hosted a solo exhibition of his paintings in January, 2016. 

Pelt currently teaches Studio Art courses at Elon University. He has taught Drawing and Painting courses at the College of Charleston, SC, Louisiana Artworks, New Orleans, LA and led studio workshops around the US. He was a selected Artist in Residence at the Banff Centre Fall, 2015 program in Alberta, Canada.
